So We're Live
OK so..... a few days before planned, we are actually live.
We started the ball rolling this morning, not expecting to fully propagate or be live for at least 2-3 days (closer to our estimated 6/15 date) but.... Wham.... we were live in minutes. We checked propagation and both our server and email were pointed to our new shopping cart host. That's the fastest switch I've ever seen.Now... We're still adding product and still tweaking and we were excited to find that we even have a facebook store! The products are not displaying nicely. Way too big and pixilated. Although we edited the template to have them show up nicely, it doesn't seem to be updating. Tech support is unavailable so we'll just have to wait till the morning to try and fix it.
But all in all, ThePhotoGift.com 's new website/store is live. It seems odd not to have our old site as it has been with us for quite some time (probably about 8 or 9 years - maybe even longer) but it's exciting to have a fresh look .
Please feel free to email or leave a comment with any critique you may have. Let us know if you were able to easily find items, got through the navigation OK etc etc.
